Lots of "easier" singletrack
compared to the rest of El Paso's trails. There are still plenty of
rocks and technical zones in the area. There are plenty of loops and
old jeep roads connecting the trails as well as a nice long climb up
to the ridgeline of the Franklin Mountains.
This area has become the most popular weekend riding location for El Pasoans
and Juarenzens since most people feel they don't need to pay the fee
since it isn't patrolled. The lack of maps and signage makes it difficult
to have a good ride without a guide.
The three mountain bike races in the area all start in this area or are completely
contained in this area of trails. It is a good place to ride.
