Jack Brooks is an extremely
well maintained, heart-pounding, good time. 6.5 miles of roots, drops,
quick climbs, and fast turns. Definitely NOT a "beginner" trail - the
first 0.5 mile can be brutal, as can other sections. Trails are one-way,
and a large map is posted at the trailhead. It can be ridden as one
large loop (as most of us locals ride it), or you can pick and choose
for a certain skill level.
Mosquitoes are typically pretty thick, and if you're the first one through
in the morning, be prepared to meet the spiders (dangerous only because
they make you panic).
