Welcome to Windmill Hill Preserve At the trailhead you will find the rules and a decent trail map Trail map at the trailhead Be sure to abide by the rules
Starting off along the wide path The trail transitions from wide path to singletrack There are several similar ascents laced with roots and loose rock Singletrack through the young trees Just like the ups, the downs are riddled with roots and rock One of the more laid back stretches Take a break, cross the bridge, or follow a trail into the trees Heading across the bridge at Stevie Ray Vaugn Crossing Trail markers here aren't as obvious as on most other trails Falling going down wouldn't be pleasureful here Just cruising along
Some sections may be a challenge for beginners Alas, sweet singletrack! Singletrack as far as the eye can see Pay attention to the map...it will help keep you on track There are even some turns here
As well as some berms Of course, what did you expect? Alternate Trailhead on the backside of the preserve
